This time final year, Patricia Arquette had already turn a bulletproof Best Supporting Actress front-runner. She won only about each esteem there was to win for “Boyhood.” This year, there’s no such pacesetter. The dual thespians who come a closest to being favorites are Rooney Mara and Alicia Vikander, yet could their contingency be jeopardized by Oscar machinations?
