Mark Ruffalo: ‘I’m A Feminist’

Mark Ruffalo thinks feminism is cold — and we couldn’t determine more.

During a Jun 8 talk during AOL BUILD, Ruffalo assimilated author and executive Maya Forbes and singer Imogene Wolodarsky in review with HuffPost Live’s Ricky Camilleri

In response to a doubt about a miss of womanlike directors in a film industry, Forbes pronounced that women need to make adult during slightest 50 percent of directors in Hollywood. Ruffalo went on to supplement his dual cents: “I agree. we adore women directors. I’m a feminist, by a way.”

“I didn’t know there were any [non-feminists] left in a world,” he after added. “I suspicion we flattering most came to a 50-50, like [feminism]-is-cool conclusion.”

Recently, Ruffalo reblogged a post on Tumblr

“The square of a square we unequivocally concluded with, that was fundamentally women observant that feminism fundamentally sucked,” he said. “And a lady [writer] was observant we suffer a lot of things that people carnivorous to genocide in a jail dungeon so that we could opinion today. People put their lives on a line so that we had freedoms, that we could join a workforce.”

Happy to hear Ruffalo has (officially) identified with a feminist movement
