LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles County authorities are questioning a burglary of a tellurian leg from a outpost belonging to an organ and hankie concession organization.
The Los Angeles Times reports (http://lat.ms/1GjUYHk) a prong was stolen early Monday while staffers for a nonprofit One Legacy stopped for a punch during a downtown restaurant.
When they returned to their vehicle, a cooler containing a wrapped and cold leg was gone.
Coroner Mark Fajardo pronounced in a minute to county supervisors that it’s expected a burglar didn’t know what was in a cooler.
The burglary was reported to police.
Officials performed a DNA representation from a donor to brand any prong that’s recovered.
Fajardo pronounced family members of a late donor were notified.
Confidentiality laws forestall officials from releasing any information about a donor’s identity.
