DURANGO, Colo. (AP) — Colorado is full of comprehensive plantation resorts where guest hike, fish, play horseshoes and fry marshmallows. This one has a new charity — smoking pot.
The 170-acre CannaCamp opening Jul 1 in Durango in southwest Colorado calls itself a nation’s initial cannabis-friendly plantation resort.
Guests won’t be given marijuana, since that violates state law. Instead, a review allows guest to move their possess pot and use it while during a resort.
In further to horseshoes and hiking, guest are offering yoga sessions and workshops on pot cultivation.
“We’re bringing an component of oppulance to that adventurous, exploratory vibe of childhood summer stay —in a pleasing sourroundings where visitors can suffer pot in a safe, comfortable, amicable environment,” Joel Schneider, conduct of a government organisation opening CannaCamp, pronounced in a statement.
Guests stay in cabins that concede smoking on porches though not inside. Rates start during $395 per chairman per night, with a three-night minimum.
