Albanian Athlete Disappears From Special Olympics

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Police are seeking for a public’s assistance in anticipating an Albanian contestant who left after participating in a Special Olympics.

The Los Angeles Police Department says 44-year-old Andi Gusmari was final seen Saturday during about 8:30 p.m. during a University of Southern California.

According to investigators, Gusmari was wearing a red shirt that says “Albania” on a behind of it when he went missing. Gusmari is described as 5 feet 6 inches high and weighing 180 pounds. He has black hair and brownish-red eyes.

Police were classifying his disappearance as critical.

Gusmari participated in a bowling foe and suffers from a debate impediment. He does not pronounce English.
