Here’s What Happens When You Put Canned Ravioli In 2,000-Degree Lava

Lowry has been photographing lava on Hawaii’s Big Island given 1991, and recently began holding video of experiments fixation canned food and splash equipment in active lava flows. His YouTube videos have, unsurprisingly, garnered a lot of attention.

“These are elementary experiments display people what does occur to certain objects when lava hits them,” Lowry told The Huffington Post. “I never approaching these videos to be so popular. Thought maybe a few hundred science-type people competence watch and like them.”

The videos, shot with a Nikon D800 and GoPro Hero 2, uncover red-hot, gooey lava ravenous all in a path, shortening a cans to a glass state and blazing adult a contents.

“The equipment we put in melted down to zero — liquified into a stone itself,” Lowry said. “There’s zero to find or puncture up.”

Lowry pronounced he evaluates a volcanic activity and shoots video usually if he feels it is safe. “I’m not meddlesome in risking my life for a stupid print or video,” he said. “I’m studious and fire what a volcano lets me.”

Kilauea volcano has been continuously erupting given 1983as good as residential areas.
