Gun Threat Prompts Class Cancellation At University Of Chicago

CHICAGO (AP) — The University of Chicago canceled all classes and activities scheduled for Monday on a categorical campus following an online hazard of gun assault upheld on by a FBI.

The university pronounced in a matter Sunday night that an online hazard from an different chairman mentioned a campus quad, a renouned entertainment place, and a time of Monday morning during 10 a.m.

“It was flattering specific in terms of time and place,” university orator Jeremy Manier said.

Faculty, students and non-essential staff were asked to stay divided from a Hyde Park campus on Chicago’s South Side Monday, a matter said. Students in college housing on campus should stay indoors.
