Democrats Call On GOP Lawmakers To Give Aaron Schock Donations To Treasury Department

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is seeking Republican lawmakers who perceived donations from Rep. Aaron Schock (R-Ill.) to practice their goodwill and present a supports to a Treasury.

“Aaron Schock done a name for himself jet-setting around a nation lifting dollars for Republicans — some of that during taxpayer expense,” DCCC Communications Director Matt Thornton pronounced in a statement. “If his soon-to-be-former colleagues in a House are truly as endangered with greedy spending in Washington as they explain to be, afterwards they will present Schock’s income to a Treasury.”

The DCCC highlighted 12 newly inaugurated lawmakers who perceived donations from Schock: Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.), Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-Va.), Rep. Ryan Costello (R-Pa.), Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-Fla.), Rep. Bob Dold (R-Ill.), Rep. Frank Guinta (R-N.H.), Rep. David Jolly (R-Fla.), Rep. Thomas MacArthur (R-N.J.), Rep. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.), Rep. Bruce Poliquin (R-Maine), Rep. David Young (R-Iowa) and Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.).

The member did not immediately lapse requests for comment.

Through his Generation Y Fund care PAC and campaign, Schock has donated roughly $750,000 to his Republican colleagues given 2008, according to a DCCC. The organisation also pronounced that Schock has supposing $980,787 to a Republican National Committee, a Illinois Republican Party, National Republican Congressional Committee and a impotent House bids of several other people.
