David Axelrod: Working On Bill Clinton’s Campaign Would’ve ‘Destroyed My Family’

Despite being offering a event of his dreams, President Barack Obama’s former tip confidant David Axelrod says he incited down operative on Bill Clinton’s presidential debate since he “knew it would destroy [his] family.”

While deliberating his new discourse Believer: My Forty Years in Politics

“I knew it would destroy my family. we would have to leave Chicago and have to leave my mother for an extended duration of time,” Axelrod said.

The former Chicago Tribune domestic author pronounced a self-murder of his father finished his career in journalism, and his daughter Lauren’s conflict with epilepsy was “formative” in his life. He removed a time that his mother found their daughter “blue and baggy in a crib” and they “thought she had died.”

Axelrod told HuffPost Live a start of his career “was a unpleasant training process” for him and his family, and that his attribute with his wife, Susan Landau, was “very frail during that time.” He credited his mother for her “willingness to give [him] a chance” to learn how to change work and family life.
