CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago’s late Cardinal Francis George has been certified to a sanatorium for analysis after he stopped diagnosis for kidney cancer some-more than a month ago.
The Archdiocese of Chicago pronounced Tuesday morning that George was certified to Loyola University Medical Center on Sunday. Archdiocese officials contend he’ll stay there several days while tests are done. The matter didn’t contend what stirred George to be certified to a hospital.
George pronounced in Jan that doctors have run out of options for his cancer diagnosis and he was focusing on peculiarity of life rather than a cure. He stopped receiving an initial drug diagnosis in Dec since it wasn’t working.
George stepped down as personality of Chicago’s some-more than 2 million Roman Catholics in November. Blase Cupich (blayz SOO’-pich) became Chicago’s archbishop.
