Scotiabank hikes division on aloft profit
Scotiabank is stating a $2.1-billion distinction in a third entertain and a division increase.
The bank says a net income equalled $1.66 per share, adult from $1.54 per share in final year’s third quarter.
About half of a quarter’s distinction was from Scotiabank’s Canadian banking arm, that reported softened margins.
Scotiabank’s income adult about 4 per cent, rising to $6.89 billion.
Its division will arise by 3 cents to 79 cents per share.
