After a brief incursion into politics, Pierre Karl Péladeau is returning to his business roots and will once again run a media firm Quebecor.
Péladeau, 55, served as boss and CEO of a Quebec-based company, founded by his father Pierre, from 1999 to 2013.Â
The association announced Thursday he will lapse to that role, effective immediately.
He ran successfully for a Parti Québécois in a 2014 provincial election, and was eventually inaugurated personality of a celebration until he unexpectedly quit domestic life final May, citing family reasons.
In a news release, Péladeau pronounced he was “pleased” to be returning to a company.
Pierre Dion transposed Péladeau as boss and CEO in Apr 2014.  He will now turn authority of a Quebecor Media house and a executive of Quebecor.
Brian Mulroney will sojourn Quebecor’s authority of a board.
