Any such partnership would move together dual business of manifold size. Freshii, that went public on a Toronto Stock Exchange during a finish of January, now operates 286 restaurants in 15 countries. Subway, secretly owned by Milford, Conn.-based Doctor’s Associates Inc., has 44,600 franchised locations in 112 countries.

But Subway’s distance is a problem, suggests a letter.

“Respected grill attention analysts determine that Subway has overdeveloped a sell base, with too many restaurants chasing fewer customers,” it said.
