(CBC News)<\/p>\n<p>Trudeau said employees\u00a0didn&#8217;t know how to use the new payroll system when it was brought in.<\/p>\n<p>But people in Miramichi, where the system is administered, are working around the clock to fix it, he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Everyone deserves to get paid what they&#8217;re owed in a timely matter,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/new-brunswick\/phoenix-miramichi-payroll-corners-1.3934540\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;I&#8217;m not staying silent&#8217;: Phoenix payroll frustrations voiced in <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/new-brunswick\/phoenix-miramichi-payroll-corners-1.3934540\" target=\"_blank\">Miramichi\u200b<strong>\u200b<\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the town hall meeting, questions from New Brunswickers\u00a0covered a range of topics, including\u00a0marijuana policy, protection of the environment, job creation, and what Trudeau&#8217;s daughter wants to be when she grows\u00a0up.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She is an eight-year-old princess or rock &#8216;n&#8217; roll star,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I impress on my daughter she can be whatever she wants.\u00a0I also impress upon her brothers she can be whatever she wants.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A university student in the crowd asked the prime minister how government planned to decrease the number of sexual assaults on university campuses.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We need to support survivors &#8230; we need to address huge challenges within workplaces &#8230; e need to talk about it more if we want to be a truly equal country,&#8221; Trudeau said. &#8220;Violence against women and girls happens too often.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A Grade 12 student in Fredericton asked how Canada can assure respect and inclusion within its own communities after flaring racial tensions in the United States. <\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/usa.timesofnews.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/RSSPoster_PRO\/cache\/ebf29_justin-trudeau.jpg-large\" alt=\"Justin Trudeau\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"figure-caption\">Several people waiting for Justin Trudeau at the Fredericton Cultural Centre.
