Monument Valley 2 hits Android next month

Aside from being critically acclaimed, Monument Valley was commercially successful worldwide. The mobile game has been installed more than 30 million times. Right now the sequel has a four-star rating on the App Store and is labeled as an Editors’ Choice by Apple. So it looks like Ustwo Games is picking up where it left off.

Monument Valley 2 is a puzzle game like its predecessor, and this time you’re guiding a mother and her child “on a journey through magical architecture, discovering illusionary pathways and delightful puzzles as you learn the secrets of the Sacred Geometry.” You’re helping a character named Ro teach her child about the mysteries of the world being explored.

The listing on Google Play has a pre-register button allowing you to be notified exactly when Monument Valley 2 is released on Android. Expect it to cost $4.99 just like the iOS version.
