Deadpool 2 is chock full of Easter eggs, Ryan Reynolds promises

With Deadpool‘s focus being partially devoted to constantly breaking the 4th wall, those easter eggs could be anything from comic book references to weird pop culture stuff, to in-jokes from the first movie. As Reynolds hints at in his post, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a Game of Thrones reference pop up in there alongside discussion of how many X-Men don’t appear in the movie.

Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds as the titular merc, and the sequel introduces Josh Brolin as frequent Deadpool partner/opponent Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino, with much of the first film’s cast returning to reprise their roles.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters on June 1, 2018.
