The ending of season 5 left the returning cast in doubt. Aside from Queen himself, we don’t know entirely who will return.  The main series regulars are back – Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity), Willa Holland (Thea Queen), David Ramsey (Diggle), Paul Blackthorne (Quentin Lance), Echo Kellum (Curtis) are all back, as well as Katie Cassidy as the Laurel Lance doppelganger Black Siren, and season 5 newcomers Rick Gonzalez (Rene) and Juliana Harkavy (Dinah, the new Black Canary), who have both been promoted to series regulars. Even actor Joe Dinicol (Ragman) will be back for at least one episode.
Actor Manu Bennett will reprise his recurring role as Slade Wilson once more, with actor Liam Hall stepping into the role of his son, Joe Wilson, who may or may not take on the comic-book role of the villain Jericho. One of the big bads for the season will reportedly be Kirk Acevedo as Richard Dragon, a “master in hand to hand combat,†that is “bent on taking over Star City’s criminal underworld,†according to his character description from Comic-Con. It sounds like the Green Arrow will have plenty to deal with, with a veritable crowd of supervillains to face down. That doesn’t even count the as-yet unrevealed idenity of the character Vigilante, who popped up to hassle Team Arrow throughout season 5.
Arrow season 6 premieres on The CW on October 12 at 9PM.
