Google’s YouTube TV is continuing to expand after making its debut in April. It’s now streaming live television in more than 40 markets nationwide with the addition of eight markets joining this week. The strategy since launch has been for Google to add a couple markets every other month or so.

Here’s where YouTube TV just became available:
The service isn’t too much like Sling TV, DirecTV Now, and PlayStation Vue. Instead of offering multiple plans and add-ons for customers to choose from, YouTube TV is $35/mo for one package of channels. There are add-ons for Showtime and FOX Soccer Plus, but Google is going for an all-in-one approach by not splitting channels into different tiers. You get local broadcast networks, national and regional sports channels, and plenty of entertainment choices.
YouTube TV’s features are pretty deep, too. A single subscription provides six accounts that can stream or record live television on various devices and store programs on personal DVR libraries.
