While Marvel and Netflix only just released The Defenders, the partnership’s next series isn’t too far off. The Punisher is set to release this year, but we don’t know when. Now, Netflix is dropping what appears to be some information related to the series. The show’s official twitter account unleashed a series of 13 Morse Code tweets, ending with this teaser:

When you decode the tweets, you get what look to be episode titles for the upcoming show.
3 AM
Two Dead Men
Kandahar
Resupply
Gunner
The Judas Goat
Crosshairs
Cold Steel
Front Toward Enemy
Virtue of the Vicious
Danger Close
Home
Memento Mori
The Punisher’s arc of Daredevil season 2 specifically mentioned that Frank Castle served in Kandahar, and Memento Mori is the name of a story arc in the Punisher comics. It seems pretty plausible that these are episode titles. With the exception of The Defenders, all of Marvel’s Netflix shows have received 13-episode seasons, as well.
That trailer up top ends with a jumbled release date, with only 2017 clear, leading us to believe that the date will be revealed pretty soon. With Autumn just around the corner, there isn’t much time to reveal the date and give people time to prepare.
