It appears that an update Sonos released for its Playbar last week has introduced a number of frustrating playback-related bugs, which range from complete audio loss when DirectTV is active, to a delay of up to a minute when streaming content from Netflix, Now TV and YouTube.
I’m still yet to notice any of the aforementioned glitches on my Playbar, corroborating Sonos’ claim that they’re only affecting around four-hundred to five-hundred people; however, it’s unclear whether that figure is for the United States or for all of the regions the unit is sold in.
Regardless, Sonos is reportedly aware of the issue and is working on a solution as we speak. It’s asking that those affected submit a diagnostic report—by following these steps—to speed up the investigation process, so it can start putting together a functional patch.
