Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus will launch its so-called flagship killer of 2017, the OnePlus 5, in Australia on August 29. There will, however, only be a limited amount of units available—so those wanting to pick one up will need to act fast.
The base variant—equipped with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage—will be priced at A$599 ($473), while the souped-up model, which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage—will set you back a hefty A$699 ($552).
Both versions feature a 5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 835 CPU, a 16MP dual-camera, a 16MP front-facing shooter and a 3,300mAh Li-Po battery. They also ship running Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but should receive the Android 8.0 Oreo update.
All customers will receive a complimentary Sandstone Protective Case.
