Samsung Bixby Speaker may be a reality sooner than you think
Speaking to CNBC ahead of yesterday’s Unpacked event, Samsung’s mobile president DJ Koh confirmed that the company is working on a Bixby-powered speaker, which will hit the shelves in the not-too-distant future.
The firm is reportedly hoping to connect its so-called Bixby Speaker to a host of different appliances—including ovens, refrigerators and washing machines—to create an ecosystem wherein everything can be controlled using your voice.

It remains unclear whether Samsung is planning to launch its Echo competitor outside of South Korea, but seeing as it’s discussed the product with a leading American publication, we’re guessing it is. Only time will tell, though.
