European paths set on highway to UAE 2018

• Groups drawn for UEFA Champions League 2017/18
• Final rematches in Groups A, D and G

The groups for a UEFA Champions League 2017/18 deteriorate were drawn as 32 teams strive for a mark during subsequent year’s FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2018. 

Plenty of intriguing match-ups are in store, including heavyweight clashes between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain in Group B, Juventus and Barcelona in Group D and Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in Group H.

Group G sees a rematch of a 2004 Champions League final take place between Monaco and Porto, Juventus and Barcelona accommodate in Group D in a rematch of a 2015 final and Benfica and Manchester United will play in a repeat of a 1968 European Cup final.

The final will be played in Kiev, Ukraine during a Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex on 26 May. The leader will afterwards contest for Europe during a FIFA Club World Cup in 2018.
