Guardians Vol. 2 Honest Trailer states the obvious, it was good not great

Guardians of the Galaxy burst onto the scene in 2014 as a breath of fresh air in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Three years later, its highly anticipated sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 again earned rave reviews and was a box office hit, so Screen Junkies had to jump on the Guardians hype and Honest Trailer right away. It’s a fantastic roast of a fun movie that states the clear obvious fact: it was an entertaining movie but not nearly a great as the original.

First off, Screen Junkies gives Guardians Vol. 2 its due credit—it’s better than just about every other disappointing Marvel sequel, except for the excellent Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It is better than Iron Man 2, Thor: The Dark World and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Not exactly Murderers’ Row, but it’s still very good.
