This way, everybody wins! Blizzard gets to keep its goal of being on-brand with the rest of its products, making sure its recognizable name is attached in some way to Battle.net, and yes, the sentimental gamers who have been playing Warcraft II and StarCraft since the days of dial-up modems get to rest in peace that this important chapter of gaming history isn’t going anywhere.

As I’ve said, it’s my console gamer roots that make it easy to accept change in the PC world, but still, it makes me warm and fuzzy that others get to continue their nostalgia in the same way I do through Mega Man Legacy Collection and Sonic Mania.

Go go, sentimentality!
