Play Movies and TV now available on Vizio Smart TVs

Google has launched its much-loved Play Movies and TV application for Vizio Smart TVs in the United States on Monday, making it easier than ever to watch your favorite films on the biggest screen in your house.

However, the release doesn’t bundle support for Google Cast, so you’ll still need to use a Chromecast dongle if you want to push content from third-party providers — Hulu, for example — to your TV.

Play Movies and TV is also available for LG’s WebOS TVs, Samsung’s Smart TVs and Roku, as well as a slew of Android-powered TVs, reiterated Google in a statement issued to TechnoBuffalo.
