Who needs renders when it appears we may have the first real world photos of the Galaxy Note 8?
MyEverydayTech shared some photos of what is claimed to be the Galaxy Note 8. The page no longer exists for some unexplained reason, but that hasn’t stopped the images from circulating, most notably on SlashLeaks.
While these do appear to indeed be our first photos of the real world version of the device, there is really not one surprise to be had here. The Bixby button is there below the volume rocker as expected. The fingerprint scanner is still there on the back next to the camera lens, much to everyone’s chagrin.
The only real unknown here, and the biggest bummer, is the number of fingerprint smudges we can already see on this device. All of the amazing advances that are made in smartphone technology and yet no one seems to be able to keep fingerprints off of our beautiful devices.
The Galaxy Note 8 is due to be unveiled on Aug. 23 at an event in New York City, but at this rate there isn’t going to be one surprise to be had it seems.
