Osijek claimed a biggest scalp of a turn in PSV Eindhoven, yet a 3 other European champions involved – Crvena zvezda, Marseille and Milan (the Rossoneri in front of a UEFA Europa League qualifying/play-off record 65,763 throng during San Siro) – all progressed to a play-offs.
