Following leaked images of the Galaxy Note 8, Evan Blass (via Venture Beat) has revealed the alleged specs for Samsung’s upcoming flagship. As expected, the Note 8 will be an incredibly powerful device.

As we’ve heard before, Blass claims the device will feature a 6.3-inch SuperAMOLED display, making the Note 8 barely bigger than the Galaxy S8 Plus, a device that was released a few months ago. Like previous Note releases, the device will feature a more squared design, which was evident in the recently leaked press renders.

The Note 8 will come equipped with a Snapdragon 835 chip, 6GB of RAM, a 3,300mAh battery, and 64GB of expandable storage. Similar to the Galaxy S8, Samsung’s new flagship will also feature wireless charging and IP68 water and dust resistance.

The biggest new addition will be the dual-camera setup, which is said to feature two 12-megapixel sensors. One will be a wide-angle with an f/1.7 aperture, while the other will be a telephoto with 2x optical zoom and an f/2.4 aperture.

That all sounds like what we expected from the Galaxy Note 8, which appears to be a more capable Galaxy S8 Plus with the added capabilities of the S Pen. It’s unclear what new features the Galaxy Note 8 will boast, but you can bet Bixby will play a prominent role.

The Note 8 will reportedly launch in black and gold and be available in September for around $1,000. Samsung is holding an event for the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23.
