Grand Theft Auto V Space mod takes players on a celestial adventure

Behold, the magic of what players can achieve if they are allowed to mod our favorite video games. Grand Theft Auto V, which recently reopened for business on the mod scene after a scuffle with the publisher, is launching one of its most ambitious fan projects to date.

Grand Theft Space. This project takes players to the furthest reaches of our solar system, and yes, allows them to shoot up a bunch of aliens. Obviously, this is the only action you can undertake when traveling into space in a video game.

Creator sollaholla laid out his project on the GTA Forums board. The mod will feature four missions when it releases with more releases planned in the following months. Players will be able to land on multiple planets and explore their terrain.
