Canadian Pacific Railway says income jumped 13 per cent in a second entertain to $1.6 billion.

Net income for a 3 months finished Jun 30 rose 46 per cent to a record $480 million, or $3.27 per diluted share.
Adjusted gain per share rose 35 per cent to $2.77 per diluted share.
Canadian Pacific says the handling ratio — a magnitude of potency that balances income with losses — softened by 330 basement points to 58.7 per cent.
