It’s gotta be a bug… right? Guys? A bug? Please?
Initial impressions of the Nintendo Switch Online app are rolling in from around the internet as critics use it in conjunction with the as-yet-unreleased Splatoon 2. Folks are finding the process of connecting and chatting with friends to be a bit of a problem.
Eurogamer specifically reports that, once connected to a friend, voice chat stops working if your phone screen idles off. That’s right, you’ll need to disable that autolock feature most phones have turned on if they idle for too long if you want to keep voice chatting without fail.
If you switch away from the application, voice chat stops then, too.
