To fill the gap the iPhone SE will inevitably leave, Apple is expected to take the wraps off a 4.7-inch iPhone 7s, which should feature the firm’s latest A11 processor and an enhanced camera, alongside the much-anticipated iPhone 8 in September.
As for the iPhone 8… Well, that’s rumored to be Apple’s most-impressive smartphone to date, sporting an all-glass design, an edge-to-edge OLED display à la Galaxy S8, an optical Touch ID sensor and wireless charging capabilities (hurrah!).
For now, it would be wise to take Jiutang’s claim with a hefty pinch of salt. Recently, a number of other analysts have predicted that Apple will, in fact, release a successor to the iPhone SE — and it’s not uncommon for one to go rogue and suggest the opposite.
