Star Wars Land pictures make us want to take the journey immediately

Disney on Friday gave fans a wonderful first-look at its planned Star Wars expansions, which are coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World. And, as you’d expect, the worlds being created will be a must-visit for fans of the franchise.

At Disney’s D23 celebration, a model inspired by the Star Wars lands was unveiled, providing attendees with a good idea of what the attractions will be like when they open in 2019. If you’ve ever wanted to transport yourself to a Naboo-like world, you’ll get your chance very soon.

According to Disney, both lands will feature the setting of a never-before-seen planet, “a remote trading port and one of the last stops before Wild Space.”

Here, guests will find themselves in the middle of the action at two signature attractions: one that lets guests take the controls of Millennium Falcon on a customized secret mission, and an epic Star Wars adventure that puts guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
