Witcher dev blackmailed with stolen files, but they’re not having it
When everyone wants to see what you’re working on, you’ll run the full gamut of responses. Some people are happy to wait, while others will snap at any scraps you drop. Others see an opportunity. Ever since Witcher developer CD Projekt Red announced its next project, we’ve been salivating for news on it. Someone apparently couldn’t wait, and obtained some stolen files containing information about the game. Seeing an opportunity there, this unnamed individual decided to try to squeeze few bucks out of the company. CD Projekt Red, however, isn’t playing ball. The company posted a statement on Twitter:
