Apple this week officially unveiled the latest version of its mobile software, iOS 11, which is already available to test if you’re a developer. If you’re not a developer, Apple said a public beta will be available later this month.
When it launches this fall, the new update will include a lot of exciting features, including screen recording, Maps updates, and peer-to-peer payments. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, however, of what’s coming to your iPhone and iPad later this year.
Word to the wise: It’s never a good idea to download beta software on your main device.
