Hulu: Here are the movies and TV shows coming in May
Hulu announced the changes coming to its service in May.
The list of titles includes a healthy combination of older and more recent movies. Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows highlight some of the more recent movies being added. Tim Burton’s Big Fish, the Eddie Murphy classic Coming to America and Ridley Scott’s Oscar-winning Roman adventure, Gladiator, are some of the notable older movies you can start streaming in May.
On the original content side of things, the Hulu comedy Casual is returning for a third season. The comedy revolves around a bachelor who lives with his recently-divorced sister and how they cope with raising her teenage daughter. Also being added are two Hulu original documentaries: Batman and Bill and Becoming Bond.
Batman and Bill is a documentary of Bill Finger, the un-credited co-creator of Batman. Becoming Bond is a documentary about George Lazenby, a lowly mechanic who by a miraculous set of circumstances was cast as James Bond after Sean Connery retired from the role even though he had never acted before. He was then offered a $1 million signing bonus and the next seven Bond movies, but he turned it down.
