Pro users aren’t pleased with Apple, and the company’s executives know it. That’s why, later this year, Apple plans on releasing pro models of the iMac, which the company said is its second best-selling pro computer behind notebooks.
In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Apple’s SVP of worldwide Marketing, Phil Schiller, revealed the company sees a bright future for the iMac, with plans to release iMac models “specifically with the pro customer in mind.â€
Over the past few years, several users have expressed anger toward Apple over the lack of pro updates in the company’s desktop lineup. The most significant update we’ve seen was to the MacBook Pro, which received a Touch Bar and upgraded guts. The Mac Pro and iMac have gone relatively ignored.
