The outlet has put together a thorough and solid comparison clip for the Wii U and Nintendo Switch versions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Here it is.

The Nintendo Switch version of the game is absolutely better, but this video sets out to tackle whether or not players should consider upgrading consoles before running out to buy Breath of the Wild.

Great, so what’s the gist?

Neither console can perfectly handle Breath of the Wild. The Wii U outputs to 720p while the Switch offers 900p. However, both struggle to maintain 30fps for the game throughout play. The Switch might be pushing a lot more pixels, but it’s newer hardware and should be up to the task.
