The good news is that people tend to forgive and forget, so Samsung could very well rebound back into the top ten before this year is over. The company has a Galaxy S8 on the horizon, along with the possibility of a Note 8 in the fall.
But Samsung clearly has a lot of work to do to win back the trust of consumers. Which may be hard to do considering its executives are being investigated on bribery charges.
Amazon ranked number one for the second year in a row, topping Wegmans, Publix Super Markets, Johnson Johnson, and Apple, the latter of which rounded out the top five. Google ranked at number 8, while Microsoft ranked at number 20.
According to Harris Poll, last year’s ratings took place between November 28 and December 16, with over 30,000 U.S. adults participating in the survey.
