Zelda: Breath of the Wild is first in main series to have DLC, season pass annoucned

I digress. Here’s what’s on tap for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s “Expansion Pass,” as they’re calling it. The pass will cost $19.99, it’ll sell on March 3, 2017, (launch day for the game), and it will be available for both the Wii U and Nintendo Switch versions of the game. Nintendo shared an image that details the three phases of the pass.

The exclusive in-game clothing, by the way? A shirt for Link with a Nintendo Switch logo on it. Consider this!

Nintendo says they want to offer fans more to explore

The word of the Expansion Pass included a statement from Producer Eiji Aonuma.

“The world of Hyrule, which we created for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, is so large and vibrant that we wanted to offer more for players to experience within it…

…With this new Expansion Pass, we hope that fans will play, explore and enjoy the game even more.”
