Fire Emblem Heroes out now for iOS, Android

Gacha is a Japanese term, and it’s what they call the capsule toy machines that make up entire sections of toy stores in Japan. Each machine has a set of collectible toys inside, and you’ll pay, say, 100 yen to get the capsule.

The thing is that the toys come out randomly, so those looking for rares or to get an entire set wind up spending a lot of money.

That’s how Fire Emblem Heroes works. Heroes are earned through the in-game gacha system, and you could totally roll random without paying any money. You could also drop some bucks and perhaps get better heroes. That’s why it’s called a “gacha game.”
