Resident Evil 7: Almost 10% of all players have tried VR

Resident Evil 7 has a VR mode on the PlayStation 4. To me, that sounds like a good way to never, ever sleep again. I’m not gonna try to tell you how to enjoy yourselves, you crazy masochists, so you go nuts.

A lot of people have gone nuts with VR in RE7, in fact. 9.48% of all players have played in virtual reality, according to ResidentEvil.net.

That’s 9.48% of all players on every platform

The really crazy part is that, as of writing, 9.48% of all players have tried VR. Resident Evil 7‘s VR mode is only available on the PlayStation 4, not the PC or Xbox One. This stat isn’t representative of just the PlayStation 4’s playerbase. It covers all players on all platforms.

Pretty awesome.

I’ll never play Resident Evil 7 in VR. I don’t even know if I can handle the game in its standard mode, which is something I’ve written about here on TechnoBuffalo. To those crazy enough to go into this game with full immersion, I salute you.
