Rayman Origins, Killer Instinct Season 2 free on Xbox with Gold starting today!

Alright, Xbox owners, a new pair of free games are up for downloading if you subscribe to the Gold tier of Xbox LIVE.

Those games are Rayman Origins and Killer Instinct Season 2: Ultra Edition.

Rayman Origins is an Xbox 360 game, though it’s backwards compatible on the Xbox One. It’s available from today until January 31, 2017. Killer Instinct Season 2: Ultra Edition is an Xbox One game. It’s available from today until February 15, 2017.

Outlast and The Cave are no longer free. The other game, World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap will be up until January 31.

Rayman Origins is one of the best 2D platformers ever made. Straight up. Get a friend to come over and rip through this adventure to see for yourselves. The game gets really hard towards the later levels, and the art design and music are exceptional. They age of the game holds up, I promise.
