Apple on Monday released the third beta for iOS 10.2.1, which developers can begin testing on the iPhone, iPad, and iPad touch. There doesn’t appear to be too much to the new release—it may just be to fix bugs and enhance the software—but we’ll keep our eyes out for big new features.
This is Apple’s first major beta rollout of the year, with the company also releasing updates for watchOS and tvOS. Apple released the previous two betas for iOS 10.2.1 in December, the most recent of which was issued just before the holiday break.
The most recent version of iOS, iOS 10.2, included new wallpapers, a TV app, new emoji, and new effects in iMessage. We’ll be sure to let you know if we find anything of significance in the latest beta release.
