‘An epidemic’: Flu outbreaks in 20 B.C. caring comforts over holiday season

The B.C. Centre for Disease Control isn’t violence around a brush when it comes to warning a open about a H3N2 influenza strain, job a latest influenza conflict during caring comforts “an epidemic.”

More influenza outbreaks expected

The B.C. Centre for Disease Control had warned a open in October that this year’s H3N2 influenza aria was stronger and would strike harder and progressing this season.

She says a misfortune is nonetheless to come.

“We are on the upslope still of a widespread curve, we haven’t nonetheless peaked,” said Skowronski. “We should design some-more hospitalizations, some-more deaths, compared with influenza this year than in other seasons.” 

Skowronski says this year’s vaccine hits a right strain, though she adds that doesn’t meant people should cruise themselves defence from influenza.

“If they rise flu-like symptoms, they should find early care.”

Skowronski recommends anybody who has a influenza should stay during home to equivocate swelling it.
