Dakota Johnson has reportedly split from Tucker ‘Role Model’ Pillsbury after only dating for about eight months.
At 36, the Materialists actress was seven years older than the Maine-born musician, and they ‘ended their relationship a while ago,’ according to People.
This, after an insider claimed Johnson and Role Model were ‘very much on the same page’ and ‘it just feels easy’ between the couple, who were first photographed dining together on December 29 in Los Angeles, California.
Johnson made a flirty appearance on the Harmony singer’s newly released third studio album Chuck Timely the Hourglass, which debuted at number 10 on the US Billboard 200.
In his drunken track Love I You, Role Model is heard telling Johnson: ‘Hey, I think you’re perfect’ before she shoots back, ‘You say that to everyone.’

‘Yeah,’ Johnson says. ‘But don’t tell anyone.’
Role Model just told Rolling Stone on Sunday that the interlude served as him ‘publicly admitting the relationship’ even though he was hesitant at first: ‘I think keeping those things separate is probably good.’
‘And then one day [producer Mason Stoops] convinced her, and I was just like, “Yeah, let’s try it.” And it was amazing. Her voice was perfect on it,’ the aspiring ‘single girl-dad’ explained to the mag.
‘Obviously, yeah, you know that’s gonna lead to discussions online, but also it made the song really special to me, and what a cool cameo to have… She did it in one try, too. It was very impressive.’
The Daily Mail has reached out to the former couple’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Role Model’s 2024 record Kansas Anymore was famously written about his 2023 break-up from influencer Emma Chamberlain after three years of dating.
‘[It] was definitely a heartbreak album, exploring themes of loneliness through the lens of heartbreak,’ the High Hopes 3000 rocker told Interview Magazine on Monday.
‘But I worked on this one during a two-year span of being single. It was a lot about feeling lost and constantly having these crisis moments of “Where do I belong?” I’m at an age where people are getting married and friends are falling in love and taking next steps. I was stuck in time and things were moving past me.’
Role Model – who pulls 11.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify – is scheduled to kick off his 34-date Chuck on Tour on September 9 at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon.
The Point Park University drop out will make his acting debut as Caleb in Lena Dunham’s rom-com Good Sex – premiering later this year on Netflix – alongside Natalie Portman, Mark Ruffalo, Meg Ryan and Rashida Jones.
