Brielle Biermann Addresses Rumors She Shaded Brigette Pheloung’s Wedding Dress
Brielle Biermann is setting the record straight on rumors that she was trying to “steal the spotlight” from influencer Brigette Pheloung by trying on the same Vera Wang wedding dress.
“Addressing this once for all,” the reality star, 29, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, August 10. “As you’ll see, I made this video on Friday. We had it scheduled to be posted on Sunday for engagement purposes. I’ve never met @acquired.style did not know she was getting married this weekend, let alone see a leaked photo of her!”
Biermann shut down the speculation after the rumor mill went into overdrive. Theories emerged online when she shared a clip of herself wearing the same off-the-shoulder white gown with floral details as Pheloung — who goes by Acquired Style on social media — while dress shopping for her big day.
“The dress I almost said yes to,” she captioned the post. Biermann was quickly met with comments accusing her of shading Pheloung, 29, after the content creator’s nuptials with Mitch McHale over the weekend.
“So it’s just a coincidence that you’re posting this as the first pics of acquired’s dress got leaked…. Rightttt,” one social media user wrote.
Biermann replied, “? Do you think I ran to Vera Wang today to try this dress on and post it lmao.” She added, “Also, I haven’t seen a single thing of her wedding dress! If she chose this, she chose well!!!! I bet she looked stunning .”
Others came to Biermann’s defense, writing, “All these negative comments are crazy! Many influencers post the dresses they didn’t get. I bet Brielle had no idea about the other girl’s dress. Chill out y’all!” Another added, “People are weird to make something out of nothing. You look stunning; can’t wait to see the one you actually chose!”
Biermann got engaged to fiancé Billy Seidl in February 2024. The duo met on vacation in the Bahamas in 2023 and started dating. In April of that year, they went Instagram official.

In July, she opened up about wedding planning and shared that she was unsure if her adoptive father, Kroy Biermann, would attend her wedding amid his divorce from her mom, Kim Zolciak.
“I haven’t really spoken to Kroy,” she told TMZ. “[It’s] in the air, it’s ever changing.” Her sister Ariana Biermann also exclusively told Us that she’s “sad” Kroy, 40, may not be in attendance.
She also teased that their wedding would be happening “soon” and is at a venue near “the beach.”
