Celebs had similar visions for their red carpet looks at the 2026 Oscars.
Two of the hottest trends that took over the Oscars red carpet were green dresses and feathered gowns.
A number of stars opted for emerald hues — which E! called the color of the night — at the awards show held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 15.
Take Kate Hudson, for example, who was a vision in a sage custom Armani Privé dress featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline, all-over beading, a peplum waist and a column skirt. She styled the bejeweled look with a diamond necklace and matching stud earrings.
Another star who looked fierce in green was Wunmi Mosaku, who slayed in a cold-shoulder sequin dress.
Fran Drescher, for her part, elevated her black sequin dress with a lime clutch, while Yvette Nicole Brown looked sharp in a forest green dress finished with long sleeves, a snatched waist and a floor-length skirt. She accessorized with silver jewelry and tied her look together with smokey eyeshadow.
As for the feathered ensembles, Bella Thorne and Nicole Kidman’s looks were only complete with plume embellishments.
Kidman, 58, looked unreal in a flesh-toned Chanel dress featuring a strapless top with black beading and feathers at her waist and hem.
Thorne, 28, also stunned in a semi-sheer look featuring plume at her cuffs. She wore the look with sparkling earrings and a wet hair look.
Demi Moore, for her glam night out, incorporated both trends in one dress. The actress looked ethereal in a custom Gucci dress featuring a feathered neckline and train with a green scaly waist.

Moore, 63, teamed her look with emerald dangling earrings and a delicate silver bracelet.
Maya Rudolph’s Chanel look was also complete with feather embellishments on her tiered skirt and Ejae’s glittery gold dress featured black plume details.
Teyana Taylor also had a standout fashion moment in a Chanel gown. Her black-and-white look included a sheer bodice that cascaded into a striped skirt and dramatic train. She added even more glam to her ensemble with diamond jewelry.
