‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Kim Raver: What’s in My Bag?
If you took a peek inside Grey’s Anatomy star Kim Raver’s purse, you’d find a mix of stylish and functional essentials suited to her busy lifestyle.
“I have a million little pouches inside,” Raver, 56, exclusively tells Us Weekly when speaking of her “favorite bag,” a.k.a. the Jerome Dreyfuss Roger Noir Brass Buffaloskin tote.
“It can either feel like a smaller bag, or I can put my entire house in it,” the actress says. “I love that it’s a little bit rock roll, but also sleek and elegant.”
She continues, “I like to be able to jump from that bag into [another] because I’m always moving around.”
When it comes to what’s inside her cool companion, Raver keeps a gold journal she picked up in France (for daily writing and sketching), a scarf she drapes over her head for quick five-minute breaks, scripts, and a current re-read — The Dutch House by Ann Patchett, whom Raver calls “one of my favorite writers.”
As for beauty essentials, it’s all about quality over quantity. “I don’t wear a lot of makeup in my day-to-day,” she tells Us. “But my beauty regime is really important to me. Esthederm is incredible.” Among the items she carries is the Age Proteom Advanced Serum.

MUST-HAVE WALLET
“This little Gucci wallet is my go-to,” Kim Raver says, adding that she carries “this thing from a tea bag that says ‘The only thing that can limit you is believing that you are limited. Become limitless.’ I love that.”
TECH NECESSITY
Kim Raver uses her AirPods to listen to her favorite music. “I love Jessie Murph, she’s unbelievable. I like Chance Peña and Sombr. I also do an ’80s replay sort of thing, and I love Anthony Hamilton and Myles Smith.”
GOOD LUCK CHARMS
“I have a rock from my favorite beach,” the Third Watch alum shares. “I have two crystals, one that’s rose quartz in the shape of a heart. And I have this penny that I keep in my sunglass case for some reason.”

“I use Esthederm lip balm. It protects the skin around your lips, which is really cool,” she says.

Kim Raver’s favorite drug store purchase? “I like Refresh eye drops,” she reveals. “They’re amazing, especially if you are flying or on set when the air is dry.”

The actress always has healthy snacks in mason jars on hand. “I drink juice made from greens and ginger,” she says. “I also have dates. They are super good for you and they don’t spike your blood sugar. I also carry pumpkin seeds.”
